The Auxiliary is a service organization composed of men and women interested in actively supporting the U. S. Coast Guard as civilian volunteers. The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary was established by Congress in 1939 as the non-military component of the U.S. Coast Guard with an expanded role with Team Coast Guard.

Flotilla meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the United States Coast Guard South Padre Station, South Padre Island, Texas.
